Greg Montello
Chief Operating Officer
Greg leads the day-to-day operations, strategic vision and technical business development focus areas of SiShield Technologies. He joined the company in 2023. Prior to SiShield, he worked at New Balance Athletics as the Global Director of Product Chemistry for 13 years, leading chemical compliance, sourcing, technical development, product safety and sustainability initiatives. Greg is a member of the Change Chemistry Member Advisory Committee and former Chair of the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) Environmental Committee.
Greg received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Toxicology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he was a student athlete on the Men’s Rowing Team, and studied Environmental Policy at the University of Oregon. Greg and his wife have many coaching duties for their two son’s various sports teams. He is an avid skier and former pro mountain bike racer, and enjoys traveling the world.
Jacques Elfersy
Founder & Chief Scientist
Jacques Elfersy spearheads chemical engineering and innovation for SiShield Technologies. A pioneering chemist and innovator, Jacques is the inventor of the water-based organosilane compound (Si-QAC), the basis for SiShield’s antimicrobial coatings and applications. He holds two patents and six EPA registrations and is committed to the Principles of Sustainable Chemistry.
Jacques founded SiShield in 2002. Prior to SiShield, he worked at Dow Corning for five years, serving as Project Engineer and Project Manager and overseeing the design, production and installation of silicone-coated fiberglass structures.
Jacques received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from McGill University. Born in Morocco and raised in Israel, he immigrated to Canada and then the United States in his twenties. A speaker of multiple languages, he now lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and is committed to civic involvement and his mission to build a cleaner, safer, healthier world.
Andrew Wilson
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew is the Chief Financial Officer at SiShield Technologies. He works closely with the team managing all financial and administrative aspects of the business. Andrew also runs his own consulting business, Andrew J. Wilson & Co., LLC assisting families and businesses with various tax consulting and compliance matters.
Andrew received both his bachelor's degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in taxation with honors from Bentley University.
Andrew spent over 30 years at Grant Thornton, LLP, including over 20 years as a partner. As the lead relationship partner, he advised numerous clients on a broad range of business and tax-related issues including federal and state planning, mergers and acquisitions, and international taxation. He also served as regional tax partner for the Northeast and co-led the manufacturing and distribution industry practice for Grant Thornton.
Andrew is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also active in the Bentley alumni community and contributes by guest teaching, speaking, and mentoring students.
Victoria “Torie” Snider, Ph.D.
Senior Research and Development Manager
Torie is the Senior Research and Development (R&D) Manager at SiShield Technologies. She manages the chemistry and microbiology R & D department to develop new and innovative antimicrobial formulations and materials.
Torie received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Auburn University, followed by a Master of Science degree in organometallic chemistry from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. After discovering a passion for research and development, she decided to pursue a Ph.D. in the interdisciplinary field of materials science and chemistry. Torie received her doctorate in chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Her research has focused on the development of multifunctional, polymer-based materials for the removal of harmful substances, including pathogens and pollutants.
Torie is a member of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS), the American Chemical Society (ACS), and Student Educational Experience Development (SEED). She has been an active participant in mentorship programs through AWIS and SEED and is committed to growing and developing the talents of young scientists. Torie currently resides in Atlanta where she enjoys watching Atlanta Braves baseball, live music, and staying active in the beautiful Southeastern state.
